Multi-Day Booking Experience
This project aims to introduce a multiple-day booking feature for hourly parking within the web platform of Way.com.

Users face friction when booking multiple days of hourly parking. The existing flow requires separate bookings for each day, lacks transparent pricing, and limits flexibility in managing reservations - reducing overall convenience and trust.
Pain Points
Multi-Day Booking Inconvenience: Users are unable to book multiple days of hourly parking in a single transaction, leading to repetitive steps and wasted time.
Lack of Price Transparency: Users struggle to view a clear, detailed price breakdown, causing uncertainty and hesitation during checkout.
Limited Booking Flexibility: Users cannot cancel specific days from a multi-day reservation, discouraging them from booking in advance.
To address key pain points and improve the booking experience, a new Multi-Day Booking flow was introduced - featuring a flexible calendar component design that enables users to book multiple days effortlessly within a single flow.
🗓️ 1. Single Booking for Multiple Days
Users can now select multiple days within a single booking flow, with common check-in and check-out times applied across all selected days.
This reduces repetitive actions and streamlines the booking process.
In future iterations, users may be allowed to customize check-in and check-out times for each individual day - a feature that can offer a competitive edge over platforms like SpotHero, depending on implementation feasibility.
💰 2. Transparent Subtotal Pricing
To promote clarity and user confidence, the design introduces subtotal pricing across key touchpoints:
The total price for all selected days is displayed clearly in the search results, details pop-up, and details page.
A detailed day-wise price breakdown (with dates) is accessible via a pop-up for added transparency.
Existing pricing models and discount logic continue to apply.
🔁 3. Flexible Cancellation Options
To reduce user anxiety and promote advance booking, the flow now supports:
Full cancellation of an entire booking.
Partial cancellation for specific booked days. If no additional rules or exceptions apply, existing cancellation policies remain in effect.
The introduction of the Multi-Day Booking feature significantly improved the overall booking experience for parking users by addressing key usability and trust gaps.
Streamlined Booking Experience: Users can now complete multi-day bookings in a single flow — reducing the average booking time and interaction steps.
Increased Transparency: The introduction of subtotal pricing and day-wise breakdowns helped users better understand their charges, reducing price-related confusion and drop-offs during checkout.
